Yellow, Citrus!

Looking fresh? Yep! Because it’s a shower gel and it’s citrusy!

This is Nicole’s Citrus Energizing Shower Gel. It’s in a plastic bottle, with anonymous-type-of-flip cap.  I only understand that it’s messy! An amount of the gel sometimes spilled out from the space between the flip and the bottle’s neck.

The body lotion has that type of flip cap too, but it’s not really problematic.

Anyway, hey, despite the flip cap story, this shower gel is lovely!

Firstly, the ingredients are lovely:

Deonized water, vegetable glycerin, rosmarinus officinalis (lavender) extract, urtica dioica (nettle) extract, anthemis nobilis (chamomile) extract, salvia sclarea (clary sage) extract, lavandula angustifolia (lavender) extract, laminaria sp. (sea kelp) extract, polianthes tuberosa (tuberose) absolute, citrus reticulata (mandarin) peel oil.

Oh, where is the foam-creator, the famous Sodium Laureth Sulfate, Cocamidopropyl Betaine, Cocamide DEA, TEA, and friends?

Well, you see, they’re not here.  That’s why I bought this shower gel.  LOL.

But this shower gel is foaming! If you rub well, at least.  And yeah, use shower puff, so it foams. How come a shower gel without SLS, etc. produces foam?

It reminds me of my 100% Pure Lavender Sea Foam.  It foams, but it’s not harsh.

Let’s just add again the ingredients list of that face cleanser:

Seaweeds (Kelp, Sea Lettuce, Spirulina),Green Tea, French Green Sea Clay, Saponified Coconut Oil, Vitamin C (ascorbyl palmitate), Vitamin E (a-tocopherol), Sea Buckthorn Oil, Rosehip Oil, Extracts of Pomegranate, Grapefruit Seed and Rosemary, Lavender Essential Oil, Extracts of Cinnamon, Thyme, Goldenseal and Oregano

I found two same words: KELP.  SEA KELP.  :D Well, but the Lavender Seafoam has Saponified Coconut Oil, and it’s a foaming agent too.

So sea kelp produces foam.  I asked Nicole’s Natural via Twitter about how their products foam, and I asked whether it caused by the sea kelp, and they said: BINGO!

I’ll Google about Sea Kelp later. Laminaria Sp. makes me curious.

Now what about the scent? Cool citrus! Yep, you imagine a glass of orange juice? With lime or lemon.  It’s kind of like that.  :D Yummy and fresh!

I need to prepare things before my departure to piano course places (yeah, places, because I’ll take a piano lesson, and I’ll give piano lessons.  Two places in a day.), so, wait for the next description about Sea Kelp and this shower gel! LOL.  :*

I GOOGLED.  And I found nothing.  Nothing really matches my expectation. Some of them said Laminaria Sp. is a foam stabilizer.

Well, okay, so let’s just finish this review for a while. :D If I finally catch a hook on this topic, I’ll tell you!

Enjoy the weekend ahead! :*
